Currents mission is to spotlight the people and organizations, which, through time, talent and treasure, help contribute millions of dollars to charity and the arts in Northeast Ohio.

Magazine design:

I was targeted by newspapers early on for design because I had a very magazine-like style. High impact lead visuals, clean organization of type and above all, readability. While at the Plain Dealer, I was asked to design a home design magazine from scratch. The result was Sophisticated Home. 

Newspaper design:

Visual communication is the art of drawing readers to stories that may not interest them. Much like in marketing, designing news pages is informing and engaging people. While at the Plain Dealer, I got to communicate a different message every day.
